Hvalstrand

Hvalstrand Bad is a beach/park/leisure area outside Oslo. It was designed by Andre Peters. Constructed in 1934, it contains a 10 metre diving tower and a great restaurant, currently still running under a different name and franchise. A very popular place for wedding parties, this functionalist building inspired by Le Corbusier, with its large windows, breaks down the distinction between inside and outside by creating a bright and open space.
